The scenes shown here represent an actual attack by a cat upon a postwoman in Germany whenever she tried to deliver the mail. This situation was discussed on German TV, in early 2002, while in the home of the man with his cat on his lap; and when the postal woman tried to pet the cat, it struck out at her with its claws.
The owner of the cat had to pick up his mail at a neighborhood bar because he refused to restrict the freedom of his cat to come and go whenever it wanted to do so. The postal department also refused to deliver mail to his house under such dangerous circumstances.
